Dispense-a-Pill - Electronic Pill Dispenser

The Dispense-a-Pill has finally arrived. The DAP is an electronic pill dispenser that allows the the user to configure the proper time and dosage requirements. This wonderful device can be filled up with a 90-day supply of medication. It is then set up to dispense the medication at the time intervals specified. This helps remove the stress and danger of missing or inadvertently administering the incorrect dosages.

Automatic pill dispensers are not a brand new idea, but most past devices have lacked the superior features this one has. Tis product is perfect for the elderly or anyone that has multiple medications to take on a regular basis.

For more detailed information please visit the Dispense-a-Pill website.

Windows 7 God Mode

I was doing some research for a web design project I was working on. The website was for a company that does Paintless Dent Removal in Montgomery County, PA. So it is odd I came across this info while doing research for that project. Anyways....

In Windows 7 you can easily create a shortcut on your 7 desktop to access a whole bunch of administrative tools and configuration options. Here are the steps:
1. Create a new folder on your desktop
2. Name the new folder: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
3. The icon will turn into a little picture
4. Open the folder and you are presented with your list of cool stuff

So try it out. here is the original post I found if you wnat a little more detail before proceeding.
Windows 7 God Mode

As a network admin, I find myself always going into the Control Panel, so this shortcut is a one click way to get to the stuff I need.

Office 2007 - No Insert menu, Scanning into a Word document

After upgrading from Office 2003 to Office 2007 I had a few clients complain that they could no longer use the "Insert" menu to scan a document and insert it into their Word document. And many of our clients do this many times a day. It seems Microsoft left it out of the main menu navigation in Office 2007. Not to worry, here is a modification to help out.

Here is how I set up scanning to a TWAIN compliant network scanner:
1. In Word 2007, click the Office button (round one in the top left corner)
2. Choose "Word Options"
3. In the Left Pane, Choose "Customize"
4. In the Right Pane, choose "Keyboard Shortcuts: Customize"
5. In the "Categories" window, select "All Commands"
6. In the "Commands" window, select "InsertImagerScan"
7. Now we want to set up the shortcut key combination. Click in the "Press new shortcut key" box and press your key combination (I used Control-Alt-S)
8. Click the "Assign" button to save that key combination
9. Close all Word windows

Now whenever you want to scan from a scanner hit your keyboard shortcut that you set up. Word will prompt you to choose your TWAIN compliant scanner and off you go. keeo in mind, you MUST have a scanner on the network and you MUST have the appropriate scanner drivers installed on your computer for this to work.

That's it!!
